Contents	:	Further to the announcement on 27 February 2009, Ire-Tex Corporation Berhad ("ITCB" or "the Company") wishes to announce that the public shareholding spread of the Company according to the Record of Depositors of ITCB as at 17 June 2009 is as follows:-
		Number of Public Shareholders: 995
		Percentage of public shareholding: 42.74%
		As per Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad's ("Bursa Securities") letter dated 8 May 2009 the shareholding spread requirement under the amended Paragraph 8.15 of the Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities has been modified as follows:-
		"A listed issuer must ensure that at least 25% of its total listed shares are in the hands of public shareholders. However, compliance with minimum number of 1000 public shareholders holding not less than 100 shares each is waived with immediate effect. A listed issuer which does not comply with the minimum number of 1000 public shareholders need not apply for extension of time or waiver from Bursa Securities"
		Pursuant to the above, ITCB is deem to comply with Paragraph 8.15 of the Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities.
